from methodology to results

Évora Design in Context is intended to provide a platform for knowledge sharing, based on the methodological practice of researchers and design professionals whose scientific, academic and practical experience reflect different perspectives, disciplines and fields of action considering design context: Design and Ecology, Graphic Design, Digital Design and Management Design are some of the global topics to explore.
Through the presentation of seminars focused at the universe of converging design areas, is intended to contribute to the understanding of different methodological strategies that contribute to material and/or digital world construction, considering at the center, the human being as user.
As main goal of this sharing it is intended to promote the reflection about the specificities that, in different contexts, lead to the reinvention of the application of concepts such as: innovation, ecology, regional /global, simplex, personal, health, female or interactive – some of the design trends pointed to the 21th Century.
Évora Design in Context will thus constitute a forum for presentation and discussion of different aspects of design knowledge, which aims to become central in the identification of pathways that, in different contexts, lead to the research to practice, methodology to results.
