The exhibition that fits the program of Feira de S. João 2014 is an event organized by the Photographic Archive/CME with the collaboration of CIDEHUS (Interdisciplinary Centre for History, Cultures and Societies of the University of Évora) and CHAIA (Center for History of Art and Artistic Research at the University of Évora) and will be open to public exhibition from June 20th to July 31th 2014.

 
Eduardo Nogueira (1898-1969) was born in Fatela (Fundão, Pt) and he was one of the most important photographers of the city of Evora (1928 to 1968). His work mainly reflects Évora´ s daily life recording in several aspects of public and private life of its inhabitants.

 
A catalog of the exhibition was also edited (on sale at the Municipal Library space). The official presentation of this publication will take place on June 29, at 19:00, at D. Manuel Palace.
