Free Course of History of the Algarve
7th Edition, in the University of Algarve
In the summer of last year the Department of History, Archaeology and Heritage (DHAP), University of Algarve has organized the Free Course of History of the Algarve. This is a course that proposes to stakeholders a set of lectures on topics relevant to the history of the Algarve in areas as diverse as cultural history, art history, archeology, architecture, anthropology, literature and linguistics.
In 2010, the Course of History of the Algarve has its 7th edition and in celebration of the centenary of the establishment of the Republic will have the theme "The Algarve and the First Republic."
The course takes place during the month of July, all Tuesdays and Thurdays in the late afternoon, from 17:30 to 19:30.
